Flan is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert, usually served as a large round and cut into individual servings. But once flan is chilled, it can also be cut into small bite-size pieces, and served in small candy papers. Bake it an extra ten minutes if you plan to do this, so it's slightly more firm.
Tiny bites of dessert are often passed on trays at South American parties - it's a great way to sample lots of different sweets without eating too much.
