Hector Rodriguez, About.com's guide to Latin Caribbean food has this recipe for café con leche flan on his site - a Starbucks variation of regular flan that sounds wonderful. Flan is a popular Latin dessert, imported from Spain. In it's most basic form, flan is an egg custard drenched in caramel sauce. It's often served chilled, but the best flan I ever had (made by my Venezuelan friend Karin Flynn) was still warm for the oven. This is her recipe for quesillo, or Venezuelan-style flan.
