Panettone Bread Pudding - Budin de Panetón

Many people must find themselves with leftover panettone Christmas cake after the holidays. Panettones are popular gifts - and are probably often re-gifted as well. This bread pudding is a fantastic way to enjoy leftover panettone, which has a complex fruity/floral flavor, thanks to the mysterious fiori di sicilia extract that is part of the traditional Italian recipe. Mixed with eggs, cream, butter and sugar and baked into a caramelized pan, dry crumbly panettone becomes rich, moist cake.
