The internet is the perfect place to seek out unusual recipes, order hard-to-find ingredients, and research cuisines. The global marketplace has made products from other countries increasingly available. I have listed some of my favorites sites here - ones that I keep bookmarked and return to again and again. Some of these sites are recipe archives, some are online food stores, and some are great blogs about South American food.
A large collection of authentic Peruvian recipes in English and Spanish, including both traditional and contemporary recipes. There is also a helpful conversion chart section, for changing US measurements to metric and vice versa.

This a travel site for Bolivia, with a great section on Bolivian gastronomy featuring traditional, hard-to-find recipes.
This is a fun and inspiring blog about Brazil and especially Brazilian food, as well some interesting international recipes.

This is an interesting food website for many reasons. It has a wonderful section on Colombian food, with very authentic recipes, many with excellent step-by-step photo tutorials. There's a lot more on this site - sections on food photography and food writing, as well as hundreds of excellent recipes, and a just lot of information about many food-related topics. I highly recommend this site!
